He holds advanced certifications in Temperament Therapy and Family Counseling and is continuing education towards other advanced areas of specialty.

This work is seen as a mission field within our local community. While its initial goal was to promote and grow healthy families within the church, the primary directive is towards outreach beyond our walls.
Typical costs for someone seeking counseling within our area can range from $100 to hundreds of dollars per hour. Few can afford such help unless the location accepts insurance. Private Christian counseling rarely, if ever, accepts such benefits.
Counseling at Mercy Tree is presently on a donation basis. The counselee must be willing to donate to something. Whether it be the counseling ministry at Mercy Tree, or another verifiable charity organization in order to maintain access to counseling services.
This donation can be monetary or through labor such as food kitchens within our local county or working at church.
The counseling ministry at Mercy Tree does depend upon monetary donations to survive. Partnership programs exist for local churches within the upstate to support this ministry allowing their members to have full access to all the benefits of this ministry.
